Consider your life as a journey by train. That journey is going to have numerous beautiful and scary stops. The ultimate goal of your journey is to reach a point in your life where you have realised your true worth.
But often, we find ourselves misdirected. We lose sight of what life really means.
In the crucial time of our life, boys are found looking for a girl and girls are found dreaming of their prince.

I am not saying that you shouldn't love someone. Love is a very important aspect of life which can enrich your personality way beyond your imagination. But if it goes wrong, it can destroy you way beyond your imagination.

Always remember, marriage is just one stop, just one station in this long journey of your life.

Also, it is not a compulsion. Marriage should be a choice, only and only your own free choice.

A train doesn't have to apply breaks on every station. You too can choose. If you don't wish to stop at a particular station, remember, there is no need.
Being single is always better than being in a relationship that chokes you.
