All for the Badge🔰
Most of the time they seem way out of proportion and the masses may look at them as lunatics, but not at all. The drive and the passion of Football and their respective Teams is the driving force behind their crazy demeanor.

They have nicknames that their families have no idea of. Those names can only be heard of at the main auditorium of the Stadiums. Most of the time money is insufficient to meet their entry fees but that won't be a hindering hurdle to glimpse their Club in action. They are the true lovers of the beautiful game.

Mapimple as he is well known amongst fellow enthusiasts is a die-hard Zanaco Football Club supporter and it matters less where the Team is playing from and regardless of the strength of the opponent, for him, it's a must-watch game. Mapimple is one fan who believes his Team should carry the day no matter what. He based his confidence in his Team on the past glory where they have achieved 7 titles to their name.

One day on match day, Mapimple was set to watch his team in action against a formidable opponent in a Cup game. Mapimple prepared well and started his journey for the event, clade in his Team's colors and looking well set for the game. He started off to the Stadium with less money in his pocket having been used to negotiate his bus fares whenever he's got to travel. He reached the Bus Stop and in no time there was a bus at the Bus Stop waiting for people to board. The conductor was busy searching for people as Mapimple easily helped himself in. As soon as he was in, the Driver knew too well that coming of Mapimple on board meant a free ride to the CBD because he and Mapimple grew up in the same neighborhood.
Hello my guy, shouted the Driver! Mapimple was stunned as he searched into the bus to see who knew him by name. The Driver called again and Mapimple located the direction where the voice was coming from.

Hello, Matthias also call Matiya, so it's you uuuh? He asked. I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you my dear, and he extended his hand for a warm handshake despite the spark of the novel coronavirus.
Matthias answered without extending a hand towards his friend.

Why are you not extending your hand my friend, he asked? I'm a more frontline worker and I need to be on high alert not to spread out the disease to other people, and can you please wear your mask? he politely asked.

Mapimple then answered by asking a question, when did you become a Doctor? it's not about been anything, my friend, it's about knowing the basic health guidelines on how to keep ourselves safe from this World plague.

Oh, I see, thank you my guy as I speculated that this whole issue is a political gimmick to stop the Opposition Political Parties from campaigning.

Oh, stop that nonsense my friend replied Matthias. This has nothing to do with politics. The World has lost a lot of souls to this epidemic. Do you in any way insinuate that the whole world is fearing Opposition political parties?

Nay my friend it was just a misplaced thought, as I watched a lot of News on the Sky News Network. I believed the words of President Donald Trump, who said it was a Chinese virus. I thought it was one of the world's craziest jokes.

The bus was almost full as the conductor gave a nod to start! Matthias was still having a conversation with his childhood colleague.

They reached the main bus station in the CBD of Lusaka City and Mapimple was quick to thank his friend for a free ride. Matiya answered and said, we will meet at Sunset Stadium being the home ground Stadium for "Sensational" as the local team is fondly known amongst the ZANACO faithful.

He is now about to connect to the Stadium as it is located some kilometers away from the City center. Mapimple connects using an Automobile heading on the eastern side of the great City of Lusaka. A few kilometers from the City the Automobile is racked as it rams into an undecided Truck that was not indicated which way it wanted to turn to.

The passengers screamed as the accident happened in quick succession. Mapimple didn't realize that he has injured both his legs. He wanted to disembark but failed to move his legs. He now realized that the worst has happened to him and soon there was a mob of people who were trying to help the injured.

The people helped him out of the racked bus and soon the Ambulance was on hand to transport the injured to the Hospital. He lost his mobile phone and his wallet in the process and that meant no communication either to his family and friends.

The Ambulance dashed off and a high speed and the noise sirens sounding, Mapimple was now unconscious as the bleeding got out of hand. The medics were trying their very best to stop the bleeding.

It was soon the Ambulance was in the vicinity of the Hospital and the other medics were on hand to help.

He and other patients were rushed in and they received the much-needed medical care they so needed. Meanwhile, the much had finished and his team carried the day by beating the opponents convincingly by four (4) to one (1). He didn't have the results as all attention was now on his way to recovery.

His die-hard fellow fans asked about his whereabouts but all found that his mobile phone was not reachable.
One of his closest friends was inquisitive as he talked to him when he said the bus left Town and he will be at the Stadium in no time. There is something which might have happened to my friend. what could it be? He wondered! He started asking himself a lot of questions that had no answers.

He wondered as he slowly left the Stadium. He went back home with his heart disturbed as to what has transpired to his friend. He reached the Local Joint where they usually meet but his pal was nowhere to be seen. It was at this point when he gathered the courage to reach Mapimple's home to inquire about the whereabouts of his companion.

He got information that he left some hours ago and said he was going to watch his team in action as today was the Cup final and from that time he left we have not communicated, softly said a young lady who happened to be his wife.

Kelvin then said it is usual for him to switch off his phone, something has happened to my friend. I need to find out.

The search for Mapimple was launched and the Wife halted all she was doing to follow Kelvin in search of the love of her life. She called one of her neighbors to if she can care for her 3-year-old girl as she escorted the friend to the Husband to find out where he could be. She called her mother who lived in the neighborhood of what has transpired. The mother suggested that she waits for her as he was also contacting the Mother to Mapimple.
