Tezaab 2 {Ch-3 Way back to India}
Ahhh!!. Finally after 20 hours of travel, I reached India, my motherland. I don't know why but i'm getting emotional.. These streets, these people walking on these street, these people's words in hindi, how relaxing was all this!!
It took us 1 more hour to reach our house. Everyone's happiness was reflected in their smile but my sister Raashi's smile was a bit faint. Is she not happy?
Freshened up, after having snacks I went to her room. She was sitting in her room with folded hands and that faint smile was still on her face. "Is everything ok?" I said placing my hand on her shoulder. After a few moments of silence she hugged me
and said, “ Dii, I don't want to marry”
"Why gurl? why don't you wanna marry guy?"
"Who said I don't want to marry that guy? I don't want to get married at all"
"Aa.. are you serious?"
"Look at my face, do you think I am joking?"
"🤣🤣" I laughed out loud as if my sister had really made a joke.
Raashi was staring at me laughing without any expressions. 2 minutes later when my laughter had almost stopped, she asked, "Now can you tell me the reason to laugh like a witch?" "First of all tell me why don't you wanna get married?"
'Coz i'm afraid of my parents-in-law and I have to leave this house too, I won't be able to any do evil there and..."
"🤣🤣"I started laughing again.
Rashi said angrily, "i think i should go"
"Hey wait!!"
"Why? do you want to laugh more?"
"Shut your mouth and sit here! See, It happens to everyone, they are afraid before doing something new, i was upset and nervous too. I don't think anyone in your in-laws will mind you and do you want to spend the rest of your life here like this?"
"haha!!.. you were nervous? really? look at me well i'm not crazy ok!! And yess, i want to spend my rest life like this with my little crime partners"
"Crime partners?" "Hmm, ur babies who will call me 'Maasi'!"
"Shut up!" I got up and started leaving the room.
"Ohoo! shy-shy haan!"
My sister thought I was blushing but she didn't know how sad I was. It's been 7 years but there is nothing like husband and wife between me and Raghav and it hurts me also. Raghav has no interest in me and sometimes I feel like he is just spending his life with me.
* 7 pm, at evening*
Raghav said after dinner, "Now we must go" Everyone including me was surprised where we were going at night.
