EPISODE 1
The sun looked down on the earth and illuminated light over the verdant lawn making it to dazzle with shine.The fresh air was blowing slightly on Mr Jablonski's ethereal garden that had colorful Dahlias,Hydrangeas and lavenders that reflected the whole garden.Fragrances of rose blew all over the garden,spreading the scent to the whole yard.It was a very beautiful morning,the sun had shone over Sandhursts at Sandton City.
Clementine was standing by the gate waiting for her employer to come and let her in the yard.It was her first day of work,she was going to be a maid at the Jablonski's mansion.She came all the way from the Vryburg rurals to get herself a job.She stood outside feeling nervous,she has never worked for people living in such a massive house like the one she was looking at.She thought to herself that the chores were going to be very difficult and endless again she she couldn't stop thinking what kind of people her employers could be.She knew she wasn't going to last if she had to deal with inconsiderate and rude people.
While she was still thinking how working for the Jablonski's was going to be like,the gate slowly opened.A beautiful woman with a very bright face stepped out,her red dress uncontrollably dragged to side by the air that was blowing like a flag lifted up.She stretched her hand to greet Clementine then after helped her with her luggage,letting her in her yard.They walked together as Shirley asks Clementine how was her trip and also letting her know that she was so happy to finally have someone to help around their house because finding a maid has been a very difficult thing for her.
They finally got inside the breathtaking house that was so classy.The spacious sitting room that had a big round grey fluffy mat on the centre where there was a glass Italian coffee table that was on top of the mat.White suede couches and huge television that was placed on the wall,next to it portraits hanged giving the room a very beautiful view.She sat comfortably on the couch and enjoyed Shirley's hospitality who had already prepared mince roll and fruit platter for her,served together with passion fruit juice.They sat down together as she gets to know who Clementine was,when they were done she showed her around the house and the work she already had to do.
She lead her to the classy cottage outside that was prepared for Clementine to sleep in it because she was not going to be able to travel to Vryburg everyday so they were already prepared to accommodate her,when she was done she left to attend the meeting Clementine wore the uniform that she was given and started cleaning all the dirty spots the was told to work on.She has never been in such a big house before,that was the type of a house that she would only see on tv and on magazines.She would stop and stare at the classy property that was all over the house and thought to herself again that living the life of Mrs Jablonski was one her dreams that she wanted to fulfil or maybe if she was born in such an affluent family maybe she would have reached the level that she wanted to be on.
She went up the stairs,singing so sweet and loud in her magical voice listening the echo throwing back her footsteps and her angelic voice.She started cleaning the sink,washed all the dishes and started reading the dinner recipe that Shirley gave to her before she left.Lamb shank,fried potatoes,green salad and pumpkin fritters,that is what she had to prepare for dinner.All ingredients were ready,freshly produced just needed to cooker to do the the right thing.Clementine had never cooked such food for anybody before and the chocolate mousse that she had to make made her feel like everything will get difficult for her.
She calmed her emotions first then read the receip over and over again,when she felt ready she turned the kitchen very busy made the whole floor smell aroma.An hour later just when she was done,everybody arrived starving even their tummies growling.Kylie entered the kitchen and saw a woman busy on the oven,anstonished he walked and stood by the countertop that was on the centre of the kitchen and in an unfriendly face watched this lady who was going up and down the kitchen.He stood silenty for scant minutes,Clementine unware that somebody was behind her.Suddenly a clucking sound of shoes got loud and louder as Shirley was entering the kitchen."There you are,I wanted to introduce you to our new helper,her name is Clementine and she will be around everyday because I've organized the cottage for her and Clementine,meet my son Kylie"
Clementine turned over and her eyes went straight to Kylie.Kylie just stood like a mute man blown away by the gorgeous lady that he was looking at,her round light skinned face with a big white eyes that looked like glass marbels,her nose was so small that you would think she was struggling to breath through it.She had pink tiny lips that were always soft and shinny.She was so beautiful,down to earth and courteous."Good evening,I'm happy to meet you"said Clementine very calm.Kylie kept quite for a moment,Clementine's beauty had words stuck on his throat. Shirley began to help Clementine to set the table.After the dinner was served she made the kitchen spotless,had her portion of the food that she cooked and realised what a great cooker she was,when she was done eating she went to the cottage to get some rest.
She sat on the bed silenty,she went to the window and looked at the city lights outside.She started thinking about Kylie,she wondered what kind of a person could he be,he seemed to be rude.They way he just kept quite and stared at her when she was greeting him gave her a feeling that they were not going to get along.It saddened her a bit because his parents seemed to be good people,now she had to deal with a rude son everyday.She knew she was going to come across such problems and that was the worst reality that she never wanted to face.She sighed very loud and heavily as she threw herself on top of the bed.She grabbed the basket and took a chocolate to eat while she was still enjoying it,she got distrubed by the knock on the door,she started getting anxious thinking that maybe there is something that she didn't do right or maybe ruined something unaware and now Mrs Jablonski came all the way from the mansion to shout at her.She opened the door and Kylie was standing outside,she was so surprised.What did he want?or maybe he came because he wanted to show her the rude side of him,give him rules and orders before she could get comfortable with working at his house.Yes that's what rich spoiled brats always do.Kylie was so serious on his face,infact he was nervous.He didn't know if he had guts to face such a beautiful lady after he never used his chance to talk to her.
"Hi,can I come in?"asked Kylie
"Yes...you may"said Clementine so nervous thinking that she was right.
Kylie stood and admired the spacious room first then his eyes stared at Clementine.There was a moment of silence between them,both scared of each other you could even hear their heartbeats.
"I hope I didn't wake you up from your sleep.I just wanted to come over before I sleep and introduce myself well"said Kylie
"It's okay Kylie,you already know who I am and so do I"exclaimed Clementine
"I know but I feel like what happened at the kitchen was a bit rude.My name is Kylie and I'm pleased to meet you Clementine"said Kylie as he was stretching his arm to shake hands with Clementine then after gave him a red rose that he picked from the garden nearby.
Her hand was so soft,touching her made his heart skip a beat
"I'm out,have a goodnight"said Kylie
"Have a goodnight too"said Clementine who was surprised she didn't expect to see what had just happened.
She bent her head to smell the fresh rose she had in her hand then after smiled,she realised that she had to minus one of the problems that she thought she was going to have.She sat on the bed comfortably ready to rest her body.
