A week goes by really fast when your thoughts aren't on a day to day basis. Bali was starting to make mistakes forgetting things she had to do and laughing at herself about it. There was no question about where her head was it was all on him. Before she knew it, it was Friday already and her thoughts were worrying her. The little kinda things that we make big when they're not, what to wear her hair it wasn't important before his interest were noticed.
She got to work, almost done when she saw the desk lamp on again in Darwin's office she hesitated to go in but it's her job.
He wasn't there just left the lamp on she walked over to turn it off there was a note that read..
"see you at my place tomorrow good night,
which kinda put a smile on her face.
What's the chance of finding your perfect match?
You have these ideas of wanting to be with someone how you want them to be, the way you wanna be treated. Then you meet them and they're so close to what you had in mind that it's scary. You find yourself in a daze for no reason of thought that won't be still for you at all.
Saturday morning she called Daisy, told her about the note asked what time were they going so that she could follow them.
They left Daisy's getting there about 11 finding his brother there but not staying. Driving in the house wasn't anything special sort of plain really a 3 bed two bath flat level which gave Bali relief. Danny didn't knock or ring the doorbell just walked in.
We walked through the house to a patio on the back where there was a large pool the grass was so green and neatly cut.
Darwin and his brother were standing on the opposite side of the pool at a small bar and grill the picnic table was sat with a 4 plates setting that was spread out.
Hey guys he said let me show you around. Back through the back door into the kitchen that was clean and very nice simple but the latest appliances.
The guys joked about being at Bali's house having to go but shame to ask to use the bathroom.
There's two baths he said one here and the other is in my bedroom down the hall to the right.
There's more drinks, beer, tea or whatever in the fridge feel welcome to make yourself at home.
His bathroom wasn't anything special a black and white dressing that he picked for guess really.
Back outside Dan and Daisy grabbed a beer and sat in the lawn chairs on the patio, being shy Bali joined them with nothing to drink.
They were all talking when Darwin walked over handed Bali a glass of tea
give me a hand he said.
Me Bali asked
yes you, if you don't mind he said.
Now this is an excuse to talk she thought as they walked back to the grill.
I like your house she said
you haven't seen it yet looking her in the eye.
Bali got that shy feeling that you get, when you just have to look away or melt.
Ok she said what' cha you want me to do?

The grill was one of those long egg shape type things two levels there was corn on the cob on the end steak, burgers and something with peppers.
Some kinda shrimp boil boiling in a pot potatos
that he was starting to let burn so she flipped them over.
It's hard to strike up a conversation with someone that you don't know. They both tend to the food without talking for a minute then without looking at her he asked
" you ok
"yeah she said feels good you asked me to help you.
It felt nice being there just standing beside him.
The day was quite kinda natural not being forced.
She liked the movement of it all how relaxed she and her friends were the entire day.
She came and went in the house looking for different things spices they needed being and feeling as welcome as he told her she could be.
Bali spent the day talking to her friends listening at the feelings of peacefulness of what could be in a relationship. She liked the tone of his kindness as he talked say little things of no importance to anyone.
They all cleaned up after dinner her asking where to put different things where things were like cling wrap storage containers.
She dried the dishes as he handed them to her,
About 7:30 Bali started to leave
Can I walk you to your car he asked softy.
She waited for him to catch-up
He got to the car opened the door for her.
This was nice she said
yeah it was wasn't it I enjoyed the company he said
he reach down grab her hand looked her in the eyes

There's nothing like having a nice simple friendship
with someone you like the gentleness of it all just wanting to be together.
Bali liked the feelings that she had as she drove back to her house that evening not light headed but light hearted. It was as if she'd finally met a man not some wanna be so call man but a real honest and good man that still had respect for respect.
She'd been waiting for a long time for this and thought that there weren't any left but there are a few still here.

When a man's heart is in the right place it makes him a better person everything falls inline and just knowing of his presence satisfies a woman.
Nither of them had to go out of their way to get each other's attention he's there she's and they enjoy each other's company.
I wish you didn't have to leave so early he said

It's nice to finally be able to get to talk to someone without something silly to put out a spark.
