THE DYING WRITING
The romance of carrying a diary and a pen tucked inside it has gone.
There isn't any effort of putting the right words, and the pressure of being correct at punctuations and tenses. The confusion of verbs becoming nouns, nouns becoming adjective isn't overburdening the minds.
Everything has got confined within the magical world of Doc and Word. This is the era of auto-correct where words like whores live in the brothel of Word or Doc. This is the place of expression where writing doesn't reveal the overflow of emotions but the overflow of trends. But the trend is not just the usage of words on the basis of widely used but the pressure of trend is based on degree of social visibility of the writer.
The social visibility; which has nothing to do with social skills but it is deeply dived into the hashtags of social media.
Social media; a world of fabrication to live far from the known and close to unknown. The whistle blowers of this world value the entity by the number of followers, number of hashtags, length of streaks.
The essence of writing, dipped in the ink of feelings, revealing the humane responsibility of happenings around, all are suffocating beneath the burden of Trend, Hashtags, Streaks and Followers!
