It's nice to have the ability to help other people in their hour of need. Today I changed a sink and pedestal for my partner's daughter and stepson which had been broken by a cat knocking the soap dispenser into the sink.
I don't claim to be a plumber but can turn my hand to most DIY jobs, obviously though having suffered from mental health problems in the past you always get the nagging voice in your head with negative thoughts, like what I flood the place etc but you have to learn to overcome this because anything can be achieved if you put your mind to it, needless to say I overcame my doubts and cracked on, the job actually went very smoothly but the best part for me was passing on some knowledge to my stepson so hopefully he will be able to do things for himself in the future as tradesmen are very expensive.
A good result for all of us except the demons.
