The Mysterious Forest
CHAPTER 5:
Edgor and Raven played with Jinx and Vanilla when they went hunting now. They even teased Jinx by pouncing on her like a rabbit so then she could defend herself from the prey. On the way home Jinx liked to catch the fish in the lake just outside of the cave.
Jinx does start to get a little stronger and faster it won't be long until she's catching her first rabbit! Jinx saw some flowers across the lake and swam straight across after playing with her brothers, it was late afternoon. Jinx did a bit of walking around the trees and then she found the daises and wildflowers she made a pretty flower crown. In the distance Jinx heard Vanilla growl for food, it was dinner time. Jinx got up with her flower crown attached to her head, while she was swimming across the lake she dropped her crown in the lake. Jinx swam to look for her crown, it was about to fall apart while she was trying to grab it. Jinx started to loose her breath while she was struggling to stay afloat, Jinx splashed around trying to breath and keep swimming.
Tuxedo heard the splashing, he rushed outside and saw Jinx struggling. Tuxedo swam into the lake and grabbed Vanilla and swam her back to the cave. Jinx was thankful but she was really upset that she lost her crown. Jinx walked inside and saw Vanilla, she seemed mad.
Vanilla walked towards Jinx and pulls her outside by the ear, Vanilla wasn't happy that she went into the forest alone even though she didn't go very far. Jinx could've still been hurt and Vanilla doesn't want to lose one of her cubs and Jinx did nearly drown.
Tuxedo and Vanilla talked that night about how there could've been some tension because Edgor and Raven are pretending to like Jinx to please their parents. Tuxedo and Vanilla are thinking of making Jinx a friend to play with and hopefully keep her in line instead of going into the forest alone to chase flowers.
