In a place called Evergreen, there's a little girl named Wensly. She is now a grade two student who is studying at Broford Elementary School. Her mother's name is Frazette, who is a farmer, and her father's name is Cleve, who's a farmer too. She has one younger brother named Steve, who is a grade one student. Their family is now struggling to provide for their needs due to the spread of plant-eating insects.
One day, the youngest member of their family, Cleve, roamed around their garden. Cleve looked at the orange butterfly that was flying around their garden. Their garden has flowers, vegetables, fruit, and also animals. They have roses with different colors, yellow bells, tulips, and lilies for their vegetables, they have tomatoes, onions, eggplants, cabbage, radish, string beans, and broccolis. Each of the vegetables and flowers has 2 wide soil spaces. As Cleve went around the garden, the butterfly landed on one of the roses. He took a stick and tried to hit its wings. Suddenly, his sister came. "Cleve! Go away! Stop it! You could kill a butterfly, " Wensly shouted. She walked near to Cleve and took the stick away from his hands. She ran holding the stick and threw it at the big tree beside their house. Her brother cried and said," I won't do it again. I'm sorry." Then he replied, "It's okay, but next time don't hurt animals, especially butterflies." After that, his brother went inside their house while Wensly stayed in the garden, taking small dried leaves and putting them in the garbage bag. While doing this, she saw a small blue kite in the sky. She thinks of making a kite and using red plastic as a cover. Then, she turned back to the plants and went around their fruits. They have bananas, mangoes, grapes, berries, and apples and oranges. She picked a ripe orange, took off its peal, and ate it. While eating, his mother went near her and said, " Oh no dear, you cannot eat our oranges without asking our permission first. Always remember that it's our source of income." Wensly replied, "I'm sorry mother. I won't do it next time. Then her mother went to their animals while she went looking back at the plants. They have 2 goats, 2 cows, and 3 chickens, which have a total of ten eggs. Her mother has a small box in her hands. She then put 4 eggs of the chicken inside the box. She went to their house and cooked the eggs as their evening food. She also cooked rice. Then, she harvested some ripe mangoes and bananas for them to eat.
Frazette called her husband and her two children," Steve! Cleve! Wensly! It's time to eat!"
