closure -part 1

Dear readers if you see my writings, I most of the time put my ideas in psychological perspective, so today I want to tell you about the closure.

Simply put, closure is the act of bringing an end to a matter, to reduce a mental disorder. It is not fun to have a lot of things hanging on unfinished in our heads, Iike stands of threads on a shirt. So we tidy up.

Is closure important, should we complete our chapter always?

Yes, closure is essential to living life.
We humans often memorize moments we spent.
Some moments are awful where you won't stop stacking in there. It might also be quality time.
But you should move.

Even in a relationship, if you had an ex, your mind won't stop reminiscing about that person. And you become obsessed with your ex. When you glimpse yourself being alone, you might regret it.

And you know for obsession you should close your history.

Otherwise, you will take off half an inch then you will come back to yourself wanting things that you used to do.

Obsession by itself is not an issue.

We as a human might encounter obsession. For example:- you might reckon of closing your door many times when you go out of your home. But it is not maladaptive. But if you continuously do something then you might have to experience a disorder called OCD.
OCD is a disorder that has a manifestation of thinking or reminiscing about something repeatedly and for the reminiscing idea, you need to convey a reply.

And OCD might dominate us and you won't stop it rather than medication.
So to cease your obsession being obsession only, you require closure.

When you reckon of something repeatedly you need to tell yourself that
" This thing might deviate to a disorder and I will be in my prison forever"

The closure is finishing off the file in your life.
Such as:-

If someone makes you upset, make an effort to talk to them and inform them how you feel.

If there is bitterness in your heart, you should let off them and move on.
You know in psychology, the one who doesn't forgive have more disruption than you can think of.
