As I reflect upon my life twenty years ago, I can recall being in a cold hospital room, in the ICU for over a month. I had fractured my leg, which led to a serious condition called fat embolism. I had to be put on a ventilator, as the fat got lodged in my lungs, which caused breathing failure.

Many churches had been praying for me....
