Is the future preconceived or does it change??
The idea that the workings of the world are set out in advance, mechanistically determined, destined to pinball human
beings from one tragic moment to the next, is the one that has haunted the history of philosophy from its inception.
Let's connect this query to a philosophy excerpt,,from my Dad's book,,Thinker,

Perspective,, ( Dr.V.N.Mishra). From where,the"HigherOrderThought"(HOT),
are the conscious of those states by having thoughts about them. The HOT hypothesis explains awareness of the self not perceptually, but by appeal to our having thoughts about the self, HOTs are seldom conscious, through which,, Me the writer thinks, it's the place where we start
a query in mind of "future, preconceived or predictions". It's the mental state that itself causes that high order thought to occur like future wanderings or changes in the time of future, I mean predictions. It is indeed, difficult to understand how HOT can explain the introspective consciousness, that's where the change or preconceived future confuses the mind.
The HOT model suffices to explain such
unity...we can regard the thought as in effect characterizing that referent as the individual who thinks that very thought.
The actual thought that results is always in
terms of the senses, no matter how abstract that thought maybe or by what
intuition it may have been arrived at.
All abstract notions, whether they refer to
qualities, numbers, relations or concepts,
require the support of some sensory perception, even if it be only a symbol such as cipher or a sound. Higher order thought cannot appropriately explain introspective consciousness, which says Future, role in life will always be a query,
But research and philosophy must go on..
We never know, if one day it(future) unfurls its mystery, it gets the answer in change or it wants it's mystery to remain.
