The Young Girl Who Sells Plastic Bags
In a one peaceful street, there was a young lady who lived there. Her parents died in an accident a long time ago. So, the lady only had herself. This girl sold plastic bags for living. She offered and made a good bait about her bags but people often rejected her and some of them even pushed her away and mocked her.
One day, an old man saw her while she was resting on the sidewalk. The old man was moved seeing how skinny and pale the young lady's face is. "Poor girl!" he whisphered with deep compassion.
The next day, the young lady went to the same spot she always goes to sell. Hadn't been eating yet, she had a little hope that she will have a good fortune this day as what always happened everyday. But in her shocked, one boy came to her and bought one of her bags. She felt thrilled as this boy was happy giving his pay for the bag. While she was yet speaking, there came another girl who wanted to buy her bag. Until one by one, people come to her to buy her plastic bags. While the people is coming to her, she felt that someone is watching over her from a far, t'was the old man, but the people kept coming to buy her bags, so she did not pay attention to it. This happened on and on until all her bags were sold. "Wow! This was probably my day! I couldn't believe I sold them all." the young lady shouted with delight. "I wonder where did all that people come from? The other day, they just rejected my bags but now they'd just went after one another and buy one. Hmm.. Anyhow, sure I will have a good meal this day." she thought.
These fortune had taken day after day. The lady never felt so much joy in her heart before.
One day, as she was on her way home, she passed by on the road below the bridge. As she was walking, she heard someone's coughing. In her curiosity, she looked for it and found the old man alone. "Are you okay, sir?" she asked. The old man faced the girl and was shocked on what he saw. He immediately came to his tent and hid something. The young lady insisted to help the old man. In such a sudden changes, the wind blew very hard and one of old man's stuffs was taken by the wind-- it was the plastic bag. The young lady chased it and as soon as she got it and about to give the bag, she noticed something. "Here I go-- wait. This looks familiar. Is this one of the bags I sell?" confused, she asked. While the old man is about to speak, the boy and the girl showed up. "Grandpa, we're home and bought the bags you asked fo--." The young lady got shocked as she remembered these children and the plastic bag she holds. Looking at the old man, she was enlightened. "It was you! You are the one who sends people to buy the bags I sell." donw on her knees, she was moved and cried.
