Sparkling shore
#WritcoStoryChallenge
The old, treasure chest lay exposed when the storm retreated. Jem's and jewels lay scattered, being perpetually washed liked gleaming dishes by waves on the shore. A bird leaves footprints in the sand like cracks in glass as it eyeballs the shiny new object in it's so familiar piece of beach. It's pecks it once and retreats, making sure the object is safe to approach. Struggling to pick up this radiant red jewel the bird fights round after round attempting to make off with it's booty, "Argggg!!!! those be my jewels you rotten bird!!" And off the bird flies in a feather shaking uproar. Now along side the cracks in the sand is a long line of a single footprint, a left foot at that, and a dot spaced out in the middle of each footprint set off to the right a little. Once more the waves crash. The beach falls back to the silence and crashing of waves and nothing more. yo-ho yo-ho.
