It's not about having a lot of stuff or having a lot of
money to be rich. It all comes down to how you live your life.
What is the state of the inner environment which consists of the mind, intellect, ego and the soul-the inner environment which is actually at the root of all
activities. Is the pollution of inner environment declining? In other words are we able to control this inner environment? Are there any principles that can help us gain this control? If so, what are they? When the six notorious internal waves (lust, anger, greed, sensuality, pride and envy) leading to arrogance, selfishness, greed and licentiousness rise high and lash upon the shore of the human mind,is it ever possible to decrease the resulting violence and misery, however technologically developed we may be in the outside world? A man may be fabulously rich, having all the amenities of life of the highest standard- all kinds of luxuries, but if he is not mentally sound will it not be a great irony of existence?Aren't all the means of happiness in the outside world meaningless for him? The famous Belgian writer, Nobel Prize winner, Maurice Maeterlinck says in the preface to his work, "The Great Beyond ":Historians can tell us that the decline of human societies could be the disastrous consequence of the pollution of the individual's mind. According to the renowned historian Arnold
Toynbee, of the past 21 civilizations on this earth, 19 were wiped out not because of any aggression from outside but because of degradation of man's moral values. It was a declared deal thousands of years ago about the aim of life - "Know Thyself!"
In the depths of understanding,,It's like Mind - A cosmos,,just connect to it,you'll get the formula..
HAVE TO LIVE.
