Chapter one
Graveyards.......,
there is something interesting about graveyards, all them headstones and markers of people who left before us,the lives they got to live, the dreams they accomplished,the dreams they didn't, the memories they left behind, their stories, grieving families, how they died, how are they remembered, see everything is fascinating.
I grew up in a graveyard, my family worked here and i spent all my days after school and summers helping. I always wondered about every headstone,and every marker. I wondered about the graves well taken care of and the abandoned ones. Mostly, i wondered about the abandoned ones, what was the story behind them, why did no one care for them, were they all alone in the world and no one cared for them, did they not have loved ones, who would carry their memories.
Now,not all graves where i lived were well taken care of, but most of them had relatives who paid for the graves to be taken care of around anniversary time, we would cut the grass,plant flowers and it would be all neat and tidy around their death anniversary time,most people did this,some people took care of them regularly,others visited often .
But,not Archie's grave. It was the last one by the end of fence,under a beautiful lonely large angel oak tree. I had accidentally came upon Archie's grave when i was...
