Story : Clean-Bowled!
Summary & Synopsis : So this is a plain-old short-story, which is actually a love-triangle between three Indian youngsters from different backgrounds & different personalities who befriend each other for sometime after parting ways. Since today is a propose-day; I've let my story end on a propose-day as well. There's also a humorous twist in the end of my story; if you decide to read it whole.

Shaurya was a nineteen something youth. It had been only a year since he completed his schooling. He was living in some quiet town in Northern India. Throughout his schooling; Shaurya had been an energetic boy. He was the kind of a guy who would take a lead in many matters, which is why his teachers often made him the monitor of his class. He often used to pick on his colleagues, and tease his teachers.
Yet teachers liked him because of his good-grades & his passion for sports. There was an inherent competitive spirit in Shaurya right from his childhood. As he grew up to gradually complete his high-school grades, Shaurya became a school-bully. Many school fellows were afraid to pick a fight with him. Many school girls were instantly attracted by his macho personality.
In his high-school days he had become more competitive than before. Now he had started believing in only 'hook or crook' to achieve what he wanted. In his exams if he wasn't able to study well; he had no qualms cheating for good marks. Whenever he'd be playing his favorite sports such as Cricket or Football he'd mostly cut-short other players from winning, many times by foul means. Yet, for his school he was no less than some superhero. He was bestowed with numerous certificates & medals throughout his schooling.
During nineteen years of age he had got his hands dirty with addictions such as booze, cigarettes, and marijuana. He lost his virginity with a few girls when he was in higher secondary grades. Currently he was pursuing an undergraduate course in a college. Though he was in a relationship with a certain female classmate of his for the past many months, secretly he had cheated on her with a couple of other girls. He'd even tried flirting with a few of his female professors. In physical appearance Shaurya was a six feet, tough looking hunk.
He didn't have the body of the likes of some wrestler or a bodybuilder, but a long familiarity of being indulged in sports had toned his body. In his college too; he was a frequent player of Cricket & Football, who had participated in various tournaments. He always kept an eye for new hairstyles which were in trend. At the present moment; he had cut his hair in some 'Caesar Haircut' and had a trimmed beard.
All who knew him, often complimented him for his shrewdness. Many even said that he had a reptilian brain, and so the field of trade & commerce was quite right for him. But this shrewdness was about to change when Shaurya happened to meet Das.
Das was of Shaurya's age, albeit he was enrolled in an undergraduate Physics course in the same college. Das had a polar opposite personality than Shaurya. Das was more of an introvertish, philosopher dude. He had been an average student throughout his schooling, unlike Shaurya's academic brilliance. Das had never gathered the courage to cheat his way out in his exams. All he had achieved so far was solely out of his honest perserverance. He was a kind of a person who was too innocent to speak a lie. Whenever he tried to lie on someone, the other person could easily figure it out from his face, which would start blushing.
Once he had tried to cheat in his exams, but his teacher caught him just minutes after those exams began, and he had to endure all the embarassment that followed. Since then he had never cheated again. He was 173 centimeters...
