I have a plant, a plant named Bean. And no doubt about it, they sure are mean, Bean, choked my dog to death, I sometimes silently cry under my bed! I tried everything to get rid of them, I tried weed killer, bug spray, tweezers, scissors, axe, and hammer. But no matter what I do this plant will not die, so I sit here suffering night after night. As time went on the plant grew, bigger, higher, taller, stronger, and tougher than me, so it’ll be harder, harder for me to destroy!” Bean shows no mercy, I cry and beg on my knees to spare me. But no matter what I do, no matter what I say, Bean won’t listen. Why did I have to buy a Venus fly trap!? Now my neighbors see a giant hole in the roof with a giant Venus trap sticking out of it! well used to, since Bean ate my neighbors too. What if Bean is gonna eat me!? I’ll just accept my fate. I think I’m gonna lose it! Then…since Bean got too big for his pot, they started to walk on their own, Bean burst through my house. Bean made a screeching sound chasing random people down the street. My house was destroyed. I ran outside after Bean. “BEAN!” I call out. Bean turned towards me. I continued to speak. “Bean, please! Don’t do this! This isn’t what plants are supposed to do! Remember our first day together!?” Bean paused as he looked towards the sun. when I first brought the Venus fly trap I called them Bean, we had a fun day together, I read to Bean, and we played fetch out in the yard-I think, that was when I broke Bean’s pot, so I bought a new one to put Bean into. The next day was when Bean caught his ever first fly, it was a great day. “Bean…you grew up so fast!” Bean’s mouth opened wide, and they spoke.


“I remember all those times we had together, owner. Which is why I choose to spare you, and not eat you like everyone else. I got tired of eating bugs! BUGS! I wanted something more rich, like human flesh!”


“NO! PLEASE BEAN DON’T DO THIS!” I cry out. Bean ignored me walking away. Seems like I have no choice but to stop Bean myself. I’m stopping my own friend! But how this plant is resilient to almost everything I throw at him. I run towards Bean, I jump on its stem, and I start climbing it. Bean looked down at me. “What are you doing!?” Screeched Bean.
“Stopping you once and for all! I should have done that a long time ago!” Bean tried to shake me off, but I held on tight as I could, I finally climbed on top of Bean’s mouth. Without hesitation, Bean opened their mouth and swallowed me. “This outrages!” I yell. “Bean! Let me out! TRu-trust me you don’t want to eat me!” Beanm shook their head.
“You tried to stop me! I thought we were friends.” I sigh. I hit the bottom of eans mout but it was no use. “Bean! You choked my dog to death! Do you know how much pain you caused me over the years we’ve been together!?”
“You're fine! Owner!”
“Bean! We’re breaking up!” Bean gasped. “How dare!” Bean opened their mouth and grabbed me with his vines.
“How, DARE you break up with me-” Bean squeezed me with his vines!
“We’ve been in a toxic relationship and you know that! I can’t let you go eating random people! Bean you know it’s wrong!” Bean looked sad. I know Venus fly traps don’t have eyes, but I know when my plant is sad.
“Please! We-we can live together far away from everyone! And you can eat all you want far in the mountains Ok?” Bean nods. He headed towards the mountain, Bean put me on top of my head
“Ok!” agreed Bean. “But this time you’ll be the one eating all the flys!” I frown.
