To little
Growing up I always thought the world was small. I would see same people, hear the same voices, experience the same experience as if it was a rhythm. It had bumpy roads but it was fine. Not because I thught it was a game but because I thought I had the remote and all these characters were there to do my bidding.
That all changed one afternoon as I took a walk to the park close to a fence were I would make wishes.
That afternoon I heard what sounded like sadness.

I set the opposite side of the fence and asked the person, "how are you?". The person responded, "I've had better days…", "miss the things I once enjoyed like walking in the rain and talking to people without hesitation. I miss a lot of things...what about you?". I took a pause, "well I don't know, I just missed my favourite show that passed on television, so what now?"

They don't respond. But it felt like the sadness became less so I set there, telling the person on the other side of the fence about my favourite shows.
Now as I grow up i start to see myself on that opposite fence talking to my former self.
