Write a story based on this famous excerpt from The Night Slowly Came by Kate Chopin:
I am losing my interest in human beings; in the significance of their lives and their actions. Someone has said it is better to study one man than ten books. I want neither books nor men; they make me suffer…
But my this story is not related to Mr Kate work, this is my own experience! I am losing my interest because I am not able to get well the minds of human being ; their neither living not actions are able to reach me and make life significant of mine . My suffering grew much more when even I try to study either books or men.
Whenever I sought to take interest in any of them ,I cried not because of them but because of my feelings towards them. Is this my fault that I am unique and does not want to follow the line made by them ? I just only want my pure life experience felt by myself alone. Why I follow the things written in books or the saying of men?
A ten year old girl just want to live her life like a river but every one around her just want to make her a lake . Why? just for security reasons. Nops ! some other reasons also you get in the books of different religions and also you get it through the gentlemen around her. Now the 10 year old anyhow try to match her thinking abilities with lives of the human being around her and her normal inner self just want to enjoy the freedom granted by them to live as a lake only metamorphosize to a 20 year old Teenage. Soon she realises that she is not living a life of a lake but the actions of the well socialized human being try to affect her life in such a way that she is living the life of a pond ! Oh ! Alas, was this life she ever wanted , may be not. But whom to blame ? She now try to find this answer in several books of different origins. All books now confusing her mental level. Books related to ancient Indian spiritual sciences tend to make her more like a pond but some books are also be like that support her to live her life like the way she wants from the beginning. Whom to select? After a while she chosen a life self designed by her only. The path enlighted by books and made by human being.
Is this the life she wanted from the starting phase of her life? A question now and then flashes in her mind in her early 30s. Now she doesn't want to believe anyone , she changes to a well only , just following to study men and in free time by studying the books of different types. She completely not interested in any of them. Now she just want to live her life like a river just want to mingle with a sea. She has not a single place for any of them , men
or book, to disturb her inner peace.
