You stirred in your sleep, waking yourself up. Annoyed by this, you sat up in bed and realized you had fallen asleep in your school's uniform and shoes. Sighing, you remembered last night's events. You mentally cursed your teachers, as you got up out of bed and headed to your desk. Your laptop sat there innocently, almost as if it hadn't shut down in the middle of your essay the day before. Now-as you stressed over getting a four page essay over why you had to take a mental health day-you only have one day to rewrite it. As the slow hum of the laptop's fan met your ears while you waited for it to power on, you laid your head down on the desk. Tears spilled over your slim cheeks silently. Thoughts of suicide crossed your mind, but you knew you were just being oversensitive. Although, there was always that tiny voice inside the back of your mind telling you to reach out and get help. It was an overreaction. You were fine. At least, that's what you told yourself daily....
