The parcel that had arrived today, contained an old key and a list of instructions to use it. I remembered what he told me the last time we met. He will give me a gift that I will never forget, that I will treasure until my last breath.


I think this is it.


I grabbed the parcel and read it, "Hi love, maybe you're reading this without me beside you. I'm sorry if I failed to be your man but here's a little gift, you wished it so it's yours. Do you still remember our house? I know you're trying to forget me and chose not to go there but, this is for you. Open it with the key, then go to our basement. Anything that you will saw there is yours. I still love you but our relationship didn't work out so find another man that is worth it for you. I love you until my last breath."


I sighed as I enter our house, lots of memories are here. I wiped my tears and head to the basement. I pushed it so I can enter.


I opened the lights and thank God, it's still working. I looked around and saw a box, beside it is a portrait... of me.


I picked up the box and opened it, I saw thousands of letters that I gave you when you are still courting me. I also saw the bracelet that I gave you as a gift for our first anniversary. I didn't expect that we'll last but destiny is not in favor with us so we broke up.


But one thing caught my attention, another letter from you.


If you're planning to meet me, I'm here in the place that we've first met. I'm still waiting for you to come here, but promise me, you will not cry. I love you, Mi Amore.

After I read the letter, I went to the tree that witnessed our love story but you're not there, instead I saw a stone tablet and your name is written there.


And I found out that... you died.
