Sistie told me that when I was very small, my grandma used to be very sick.At that time there were no hospitals in our town. Dad used to take my grandma to the nearby City for treatment. She was diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctors refused to treat her and asked dad to take her to Mumbai for treatment.Dad ,at that time did not have so much money to get her a good treatment. Many days after dad somehow collected the money and decided to take grandma to Mumbai the very next day. But at that night , grandma's health deteriorated.
Dad at that very night took Grandma with mom to Mumbai .But on the way my grandma left this world and went very far from us.
After that Dad wished someone from there children to be a doctor.
Sistie also told that she was not so good in studies and Arne at his childhood often used to get sick so it's not that dad didn't ask them to be a doctor, but seeing the situation he never forced.I was his last hope.
People often used to tease dad saying that,"see he didn't have money to save his mother and want to make his daughter a doctor."but dad never replied back to them and started working harder and saved money.Dad avoided to buy expensive things unless it's very important.
He was very sure that one day her daughter will make him proud and all the useless mouths will be shut.
Hearing all this my heart like suddenly stopped for a moment."Dad did all this for me."I said in astonishment.
Sistie replied,"It is not this much only,Aayla.You don't know how our parents have sacrifice for you as well as for us,so work hard and put those stupid thoughts away." she said and went out of the room.
A thought arised in my mind,"Should I bury all my dreams and work for them?"
