Love story #3
There is a guy
Who did decide
To go outside
And find a bride
This single man
Needed a hand
To help him stand
That was the plan
He needed a way
To help this day
Find himself a date
One that won't stray
He went up the street
Just him and two feet
Maybe someone to meet
A person very sweet
He went to the park
To create a spark
Before it got dark
And make his mark
Three hours had passed
Now resting on the grass
Thinking what a hard task
There's no one to ask
He thought to go home
To just be alone
Turn off his phone
He should have known
As he gets up to leave
His eyes he couldn't believe
Is this really what I see
A lovely woman in need
She was looking around
For something on the ground
He said with a timid sound
What is it you have not found
She replied it's my keys
Could you help me please
There here near the trees
So he lowered to his knees
They searched for an hour
The lady was getting sour
Just as she said it's fine sir
He hears a jingle in the dirt
Her keys found at last
It was a tedious task
And he had to ask
And get some of her facts
Would you care for a drink
He said grinning and a wink
She paused and did think
Maybe just one real quick
They left to get some wine
They chatted and it was fine
Over a drink they did dine
Both their eyes stayed wide
After a couple hours alone
Kindness they both had shown
Soon a house of their own
Together their hearts now sewn
