Self love is not about seeking for love, but about seeking for all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. Love itself is what is left over when being "in love" has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Every fall into love involves the triumph of hope over self-knowledge. You will always be loved by the people you surround yourself with, if you start loving yourself first. Being loved is perhaps the greatest feeling in the world. Love is given freely. Love, I think, is a gateway to the world, not an escape from it.
