This bridge holds so many precious memories for me.
I remember spending the weekends with my Mamaw as I was growing up, I probably spent 97% of my childhood weekends there.
Every Saturday we would go to downtown Maysville to shop and eat and have our day out.
When we would get ready to go home, I'd ask Mamaw if we could go across the bridge. She never told me no, we always went across, slowly, and we'd turn around and come back. Mamaw would tell me different stories about the Ohio River. We went across the bridge in every season. No matter the weather.
