DEMOTIVATION
In general, demotivation derives mainly from negative thinking and negative environment whether it's physical or emotional.

In a workplace other deciding factors apart from the above two are; criticism, fear of failure, lack of appreciation, play favorites, awarding non-performers, work pressure, low self-esteem, office politics, lack of job security, too much changes, responsibility without authority, lack of clarity of role etc.

Further, few things, if you don't have it, will demotivated you. But if you have it, will not motivate you. Such as having or not having a cafeteria in your organization.

It's a common belief that repetitive nature of work is demotivating. Is it really so, I don't think. It's the lack of challenges and the feeling of being unutilized.

Many a times, the greatest motivator is to remove the demotivating factors. Although belief is said to be the greatest among all.

A person without aspiration cannot really be motivated. Motivation brings excitement and excitement does not come unless there is commitment.

What really want to accomplish is self #motivation. When people do things for their own reasons that becomes lasting motivation. When #people accept #responsibility, everything improves, #quality, #productivity, #relationships, and #teamwork.
