If I would be someone's elder :-
I won't force him to study. Rather then I would tell the impact of being uneducated.

I won't force my opinion on him. Rather than would ask for suggestions. Maybe his suggestion will be better than mine.

I won't tell him bedtime stories. Rather than I would prefer telling him historical moments.

I won't force him to eat. Rather than I would let him starve until he realizes what hunger actually is.

I won't ask him to obey society. Instead I would ask him to use his own brain and decide what is right and what is wrong.

What would you do, when you will be an elder?

( Since I was younger I noticed some flaws. And it is not good habit to argue about it with elders. So I decided not to repeat it in my future.They are correct in their own sense. This content is only my opinion.)
