When love hurts
Celina stared at Luke as more tears ran down her cheeks. She chuckled quietly,pain flashing through her eyes. She shivered a bit as a result of the cold but still stayed in the rain,refusing to break the eye contact she made with Luke.

"So its her right?" She asked,more tears running down her cheeks. Today was supposed to be her six months anniversary but it turned out to be the worst day of her life.

Earlier that day, she wanted to surprise him with a present and she dragged him down to the mall. At first,everything went well until they bumped into Alexa, Luke's ex girlfriend. She thought if was no big deal since he was completely over her. But she was wrong....completely wrong.

"Today was supposed to be a happy day....why this Luke ?!" She screamed. She wiped the tears off her face and faced him again.

"I gave you everything... Where did I fail? Or wasnt I pretty enough?! Tell me!" She shouted,slightly pushing him backward.

"I'm sorry Celina... I really am...I tried to forget about her...believe me I did" Luke said,trying to break the distance between them.
"Ever since we bumped into her,you've been acting like weird... You barely reply me....you've been staring at her...as if that wasnt enough....I caught you kissing her!"
"I'm ....." She cut him off with a resounding slap on his cheek.
"I was there when she dumped your ass...I picked you up and made you the strong guy you are today" she said,recalling the pains she went through,trying to mend his broken heart,despite how much he pushed her away.
"Now answer me! Do you still love her?" She asked,peering deeply into his green eyes that she fell in love with. Her heart broke into a million pieces as he nodded affirmatively. He never for once forgot about Alexa. It was hard getting over her no matter how hard he tried. He loved her so much.
"So I wasted my time?" Celina's voice came again,breaking through his thoughts.
"Did you even get to know me? I saw the fucking signs yet I ignored them...its over Luke...I am leaving you to find out what you heart really wants" she moved closer and claimed his lips for the last time before handling him his promise ring.
" I don't deserve this "
Luke tried to touch her but she yanked her hands off. His heart broke. It was all his fault. He watched her walk away. He wanted to call her back but he knew it was too late. It was true tho; you never know the value of what you have until you lose it .......
