Restless Legs!
Mom would always tell me;"Annie, you're being too active, go jog or do something and please don't break my tiles".
I was always proud of her telling me that. I was the last child and so had no stress since while Dad, Johnny,
Andrea and Peppa were out working, I'd be with mom picking almonds in our garden.
I so loved helping her out with the fruits and sometimes she agreed to engage in pretend plays with me.
She would always remind me that I was very brave at four and wouldn't give up*.She made me look special on retirement parties she attended and wouldn't let me go off without dad handing me my fare.
I am 15 now and might have out-grown those habits however I began to feel something in my legs.
I shove it off and did not put much thought to it.
It became unbearable that I couldn't sleep at night.I talked to mom about it and we immediately went to the hospital.
The doctor said I had developed restless feet syndrome which may have been caused by Insomnia.
He put me on drug for Insomnia but advised that to get rid of my current syndrome,I'd have to respond accordingly to the urge to walk especially if it meant walking around at night.
Though I am fine now,I feel Mom's guity for the restlessness in my feet.
I needed sleep and I knew it and I worked toward achieving the best of good health.
I could however say goodbye to my restless legs!
