When you choose to love someone who is damaged, you take on the weight of their past, their pain, their guilt. You must be strong, you must be patient. You can stop the bleeding and help them scar over but they will always, always be a little broken. If you can handle that, if you can accept the dents and the cracks. If you can get them too trust you, you will never find a better ally than one who is damaged. Above all else, they know about survival.
God will never leave you empty. He will replace everything you lost. If he asks you to put something down, it’s because he wants you too pick up something greater. God has the final say, when he says yes or no, no man can stand against it. Let him fight your battles for you and he shall make sure you win in the end. All you have to do is have faith in him. Pray without ceasing and always acknowledge him, and his works in your life. Like the saying clearly says, God is good and so he is always. With him your surely a winner. They keep their running shoes besides their souls every night. one eye open in case things change while they sleep. their backs always tense as though waiting to fight a sudden storm that might engulf them. because damaged people have already seen hell. And damaged people understand that every evil demon that exists down there was once a kind angel before it fell.
