☢︎︎𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡☢︎︎ 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 1: The Protesters
Dark... Dull... Dead... The morning was near, but the moon still casted a warning of fear...
The protests were still patrolling around the city, spreading the word of what they want. And what they wanted was not one bit good...
Jack awakened from his 5 minute sleep, probably the most he's slept in weeks since the protests started.
"Hey Jack, get any good sleep?" Ella questioned in concern and worry as walking into the room with crumpets and a glass of orange juice on a tray.
"What time did I fall asleep?" Jack wondered whilst taking the tray.
"About 6:01?"
"Really!? I've had about 5 minutes sleep..."
"New record!" Ella cheered, getting under the covers of the bed.
"Have you ever... Wanted to go back to how life used to be..." Jack asked curiously.
"Well.. Yes I have, but just think about it, once the Prime Minister decides what he wants, if he sais no to the protest groups, things might change back to old times. However, if he allows it-"
"Then innocent people will die." Jack interrupted.
"Just think of it as something that will take everyone's anger out on-"
"Innocent people. It's not right, and not fair. All this just because of the population, people are going to be out there killing people for fun. For 'more space'. Covid 19 already wiped out millions of people, and now they want to wipe out even more people." Jack explained in anger. Ella tried to think of something, but the situation was hard.
"S-sorry... I shouldn't have spoke to you like that.."
"No I get it, it's been hard, we're not the only ones who are in a hard situation, some might enjoy spilling blood, others like us have a chance to stop this. We shouldn't be involved in any of this, we have done nothing wrong." Ella hugged Jack, slowly reaching her hand towards his crumpet.
"Oi I see your hand!" Jack said laughing.
"you saw 𝑛𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑖𝑖𝑛𝑔..." Ella giggled.
Out of nowhere screams of joy were heard on the streets outside...And the reason wasn't exactly joyful...
𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔...
Jack and Ella peeked out of the dusty cracked window, and what they saw was not what they expected...
This time there were cars full of LED lights all over them, people wearing masks, the boots of their cars full of weapons, weapons like knives, katanas, guns, and even bombs... This was getting out of hand...
They cheered and danced their way down the city, slowly making their way to even more crowds...
"This is getting out of hand. "Ella said in worry and disappointment.
"Surely the Prime Minister can't allow this." Jack said angered.
"I think he already has alloud it..."
And she was right...
