IDENTITY
Who am I? What are my likes and thoughts? Vices and virtues? Whom do I aspire to be? So many questions, so many answers whizzing by.
What are we really?
Polonius' advice is summed up with the lines: 'This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. '
The aforementioned Shakespearean line always plays at the back of my mind when I ask myself "Who am I really". As the days are passing by, I find myself learning more about who I really am as the masks wear off, the music dies down and I am left to understand the crux of my true identity. But who am I?
I am far more than opinions, I am more than ideological ideas of who I should be. I am light and I aspire to be peace. Having read various religious books, treaded through perilous times and gracefully waltzed around in elation amid the best times, I have summed up that I am an ever changing chronicle.
