Three months later Nancy and Bess were both honored to be present at the wedding of Charles Pierce and Nila Kirkedottir . Pierce was able to walk down the aisle under his own power --- thanks to the heart transplant he'd undergone eight weeks earlier .

Nancy and Bess were late getting there ---- Bess had had trouble deciding what to wear ---- and by the time they got to the church, the ceremony had already started . So it wasn't until after the ceremony that Philip caught up to Nancy .
