"Don't worry at least we have the note" one of the officer said as Kyle walked downstairs. "Emmmm, no the note is gone too" I said as he pointed to the empty table.

"Mam this is serious please follow us now" The officer said. "Kyle please help babysit Brian and Erin for me I will be right back" mom said following the cops. "No I have plans tonight" Kyle said but mom was already in the cops car.

I went up to my room and brought out the note which I swiped and kept it in my pocket I needed it to find the answer to who stole my project. "Erin! Dinner is ready" Brian said badging into my room and I quickly hid the note at my back.

I forgot to lock my own door so Brian caught me. "What are you hiding" Brian asked. "Nothing" I said immediately. "Isn't that the note they were looking for?" Brian asked he has already sighted the note.

"Where you eavesdropping on us?" I asked him too. "Yeah I also need to find dad" he replied. "Look I will explain everything to you after dinner" I said following him to the dining room, we all sat down and ate together until Kyle had a phone call.
