A wet leaf fell on her shoulder making her jump in fear. Startled she shifted from her hiding place behind the bush

The slightest twitch, makes the leaves move against one another. This, making the man that is following her, double back.

Being only a few feet away, he crouches down and waits for the girl to emerge

As a former sniper, he uses his training to stay crouched, as he waits.

Twenty or so minutes pass by, and she doesn't hear anything. She thinks about which way she is going to run when she comes from hiding.

She finally makes up her mind to run left, so when she tip-toes out and attempts to run

He is still there, waiting on her.
