Color-blind
Everything about him was blue. He was scary like the ocean and mesmerizing like the sky. Blue seemed to keep all the secrets of the world and I longed to know all of them despite the danger. Blue pushed me to reach for the heavens and jump into the depths of sorrow. People told me I was holding hands with a red flag but I couldn't see what they saw. Late replies weren't red to me nor did ghosting from time to time. Refusal to commit didn't even have the slightest shade of red nor did the word 'almost'. Or maybe I did saw all the warning signs but I just refused to recognize them.
