My Room
When I wake up in the early morning, the sun hits its sunlight through my window. I feel more relaxed in my room when the birds are chirping. Especially there is this one bird which often comes to my window as in it greets me in good morning and i feel happy about it. When I do online classes, i turn my room almost like my working space. Books would be on my bed, colourful pens and pencils would spread everywhere on my desk and copies would stacked on the floor. During the weekend, I would just simply bring my delicious breakfast in the early and beautiful morning and watch some series in my own loving room.

When it comes to afternoon, the room would glow very brightly because of the brightly sun. Sometimes, I would stand beside my window just to enjoy the scenery where the trees are shined brightly as if their leaves are emeralds which shines brightly under the sunlight. Slowly, when it is the time of evening, everything in the room becomes peaceful. As if the books are untouched, the golden sunlight rays are slowly fading away from my room. My red coloured curtains would turn to dark red. It’s like living in a paradise. At night, which is my favourite time, I always have a horror feeling which indeed I enjoy it. Because at that time I love to read and write horror stories. My room becomes cold as if there is a presence of a spirit. And when the lights are off, only few glimpse of lights from the street light passes through my window. In my room, only I can hear is the dead silence.

Its not just only the timing I want to talk about. When the season changes, my feelings in my room changes. Like in summer, my room will be like bright, colourful, joyful, full of hope and filled with positive energy. During rainy season, every little detail in my room becomes dull, peace and whenever I go to bed at night, I feel so relaxed by the sound of the rain as if it is playing a beautiful song. In the middle of winter, my room becomes so cold that even the floor becomes cold as ice! But ever since the lockdown happened, everything changed. My room became like a movie where its being played in a continuous loop. Nothing different, it’s still the same.
