What if I told you there were not two wolves inside you?

What if I told you there were ducklings.

And, what if I told you there were more than two?

And that none of them are evil, or greedy, or ego centered, and that they are not at war.

What if I told you there was no need to feed them? That they feed themselves and only you decide what they might be or become?

My ducks are joy, happiness, compassion, empathy, understanding, and peace.

You decide what lives inside you, and by doing so, you pick what comes out from you.

With no disrespect to old Cherokee lore, there are not two wolves living inside you. There are as many, or as few, ducklings that you need in any given moment... there is no need to put them in a row.
