Had I Known

When I read the story of the Biblical Joseph, the son of Jacob, I realised that there is nothing strange in rising, falling and rising again.
When I compared his life with that of Biblical King David, I realised that there is nothing wrong in not knowing how tomorrow will turn out. I mean, Joseph was a dreamer, he already knew what would happen tomorrow but David was just a shepherd boy who never had a dream or had someone dream about him but he also made it in life despite being without a dream; all he had was the bravery and the zeal to succeed and God must have seen those in him.
Now when I look back at how I had lived some moments in my days, I wished I had known the aforementioned.
If I could change something about my life, I would have changed the unawareness of those. For if I had known that I needed zeal and bravery when I don't know what the future holds and that rising, falling and rising again is not just about intonation, I would definitely have achieved this great earlier and by now, be greater than this.
Still, I have long realised that it is better late than never and that has brought me this far.
