I was a cobbler
living still like a toddler
striving for a life
beyond a carpet of
dirty shoes

My wish came true
in the most blood-curdling way.

One fine day,
a shoe without its pair
was lying among the scandal
looking at me, as if it was
not fair.... to not admire
it's beauty.

The golden brown leather shoe,
with its knife pointed Toe box
& thick black lace carried
a wrapper in its soul, which read
"MEET YOU AT 12:00,CHANDRU"
