Chapter-3 Trapped

As we can clearly see, we can't go back. We can reminisce our memories but we can't turn back or there's no chance of starting over. While alot of people argues that people do deserve second chances. Do they really deserve? If a person can't change that much why do they deserve second chance. Maybe alot of people are trapped in their lives. They always want to get out of it but can't even take a single step against it because they're trapped with responsibilities.

Parents usually do share those responsiblities together. What if they don't? What if one doesn't care or care less enough than what exactly needs to be done for his family. He's a husband who found solace in alcohol and worldly pleasures. He's a father who puts other's needs first than his family. He never realised his mistakes until it's too late. He believes in his wicked friends who are greedy for his money but never ever tells him to do the right things. He's trapped in his own destruction where his own mistakes made his family pay for it. He's a good man in the eyes of some but never a better family man. That can explain everything.

If one thing anyone could desire and possibly get it for sure in reality, I'd wish for his wife's patience. Yeah, she's his wife before she's our mother. She cried, she disguised, she's lost, she's down but she fought back. She worked hard and always struggled to work hard along with him. She tried to make it work and kept on doing the same for years. She's trapped in the bonds with responsibilities and finding love from her husband and even if she couldn't get it she can share much more love to her children. Everyone laughed at their lifestyle but she stood up for her family. She never left. She accepted his flaws. She atleast succeeded by educating her children.

By the time he realised that he's done so much damage to his own family, she thought that he'd change atleast once even if it's late. She kept on giving chances to him and he's taking them without regret every single time. There's no use of those chances she's given him but her problems strike harder than ever. The more she's holding on to her patience, the more he tests it. In this wicked society, her own relatives throw pebbles to see her reactions but few stood beside her during her hard times. She's forever grateful to them even if they hurt her at some point. She learnt bluntly few things from the so called society in a tender age where a lot are drowning themselves in happiness but she can't even drown in sorrow as her tears rolled and rolled and eventually dried yet bounded to whatever she's learnt even till to date.

She misses a point that marriage to the daughters isn't the settlement and it never gonna fix neither her problems nor theirs(her children). She says it's compulsory for the society. What if something goes wrong? What if his personality effects their future like it does now? She thinks that the responsibility is fulfilled exactly after when it's done. She can't foresee the problems of their Hindu orthodox family life after the marriage. I don't judge everyone's lifestyle but yeah it still does matter me about my lifestyle. Being eldest always comes with a price. Eventually I regret being trapped too.
