I'm sceptical that writers in general actually have a genuine place in the world. If you're good, you're judged, your work gets discredit or stolen without acknowledging you & when you're half way there then it's the same cycle slowly crawling on you & if you're a start-up only if you're lucky that you get noticed & by all means (even if we write for us) writing is a form of expression & a way to communicate the creative & artistic language within it but alas! you have to be either already established or forget trying & in all facts of reality no one reads anymore. No one brew & simmer in the words that's being conveyed instead a small comment of "good work" or "awesome" gets to be thrown on a 4 minutes reading post after 30 second. It is bizarre & almost heart wrenching. Why bother sharing? why bother creating a bridge to mend the lack of human connection when it's going to be one way or no way in the end anyway - *shrugs*
