More about Me
I warn you: This isn't a story. If you opened this hoping for one, then I'm sorry - it's not.
However, if you've been wondering who I am, with a weird name and a weird profile, then you've come to the right place.
Hi, fellow writers and poets! Call me Diana. In this post, I'll tell you what kind of a person I am and more about myself.
By the way, the dog in my profile picture isn't mine. He's my cousin's pet Pomeranian, Rocky, and he's the most adorable and most devoted companion anyone can wish to have.
I'm a teenage girl with a big imagination. That's my first and foremost identity.
My second identity is that - I'm a reader. Yes, be it whatever book (except Maths books), I'm happy to bury my nose in it and get lost in another world. Don't expect me to look up and have a long conversation with you when I'm in the middle of a book.
I'm not always that cold, however. Yes, I'm an introvert, but a friendly introvert. You take some time to talk to me, and don't judge me for my miserable height of four feet eleven inches, and lo! You've got yourself a new friend.
My height doesn't define me. As I said, I've got a wild imagination. Leave me in an empty room all day, but I won't die of boredom. My imagination will keep me entertained.
My third identity - I'm a Potterhead. I'm also a fan of Pokemon, Percy Jackson and Warrior Cats. I love many, many other books as well, but these are my favourite ones. Not Pokemon, of course, for I haven't read any of those yet, but I do watch the anime, and I love it. If there are any pokemon, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson or Warrior Cats fans out there, please write so in the comments!
In case there is some unfortunate person reading this who hasn't read Harry Potter, Percy Jackson or Warrior Cats yet, then I recommend it. Highly. In my opinion, your life isn't complete without it. Just try it out once, and if you don't like it, then fine - suit yourself. But there's no harm in trying, right?
I'm NOT a professional writer or poet. Writing is my passion, and that's why I pour my heart into it. Especially fanfiction. Poetry is amazing as well - the fact about expressing my thoughts is that I get to know myself better. I can understand what I myself feel when I turn my thoughts into words. I don't know if this makes any sense, but writing helps me discover myself.
Please don't expect great things from me- I'm not even that talented. But I do write from my heart.
Another thing: Writing takes time. I do my best, but I have schools, exams and cultural activities to attend to, so I don't get much writing time. Still, I'll try to continue my pokemon fanfiction as often as I can.
Sometimes I might write some other story in the middle of the fanfiction. That can't be helped, sorry. Sometimes, I need to take a break and focus on something else for a while, or else I WILL get writer's block.
I write in English only.
That's all for now. If you have any more questions, the comments are open. And everyone out there: Stay safe, stay healthy, don't give up, and stay creative. Remember: You're not alone.
