The walkway was dark
But the light
shined on a bundle
of roses left on the ground
So they still are fresh
so I take them home
And preserve them
once I am home I see
that in side the bundle
is 50,000. dollars and
I am like this
my lucky day
And I got
Many blessings from
picking you
So I put the roses in
a big bowl
To let them
live in there right
standing
not on that ground
where it would
just sit
All the time
So I still look over
my shoulder
did anybody see me
pick these flowers up.
And I often wonder
who left there. flowers
by the side of the road.
