Dabi's Villain Rehab Part 6 An MHA Fanfic
According to the clock above me, an hour had passed since Erasure's visit with the untouched food. Now, slightly different footsteps approached me. I snapped up-neither awake nor asleep-to find Present Mic towering above me. I yawned, forcing my eyes open again to watch him. I noticed a small smile on his face as he bent down in front of me. I blinked slowly,"Wha-" He picked me up bridal style, carrying me to another room that I recognized as the living room. He set me down on a soft cushion, rubbing my shoulder for a moment. I yawned again, my eyes drifting closed. I wasn't asleep, but I wasn't awake enough to keep my eyes open or move. Not long after settling into the couch corner, a knock sounded at the door. I jumped slightly at the sudden noise, before a shushing noise filled my ears calmly. I allowed myself to snuggle back into the couch right as footsteps approached me slowly. A familiar voice whispered,"This is progress Erasure, Mic. But he won't be like this in the morning, sadly." I perked at his soft voice, quietly responding to his presence,"Keigo?" I heard him gasp as I sat up slightly, bleary-eyed. He spoke a bit louder than a whisper, but still quietly,"He's not asleep?" Erasure answered,"No. Just really tired. He didn't even put up a fight when Mic carried him here." My vision was blurred and it was dark in the room besides the light coming from the TV, but I could just barely make out Keigo's figure. I reached up towards him lazily. He picked me up enough to set me on his lap. I snuggled into his warmth, closing my eyes again, still not allowing myself to fall asleep. Erasure spoke quietly,"Dabi, why don't you sleep?" I mumbled,"No." Keigo sighed, wrapping his arms around me protectively,"They won't hurt you, Patches." I grunted in disbelief, but drifted asleep.
Shoto sat against a wall, eyes glazed and empty. It was dark out, so I had a hard time seeing him. Once I did, I ran to him teary eye I screamed,"Shoto?! Shoto!" I dropped to my knees, shaking his shoulders,"C'mon c'mon, wake up!" I noticed his neck was disentigrating, and a bullet holes in his chest. He wasn't breathing! I cursed loudly, kicking a nearby wall. Behind me, a raspy voice laughed,"Throwing a tantrum. are we Dabi?" I spun around to find him holding Fuyumi by the neck as hers fell away as well. He smiled cruelly,"Look up." I did as I was told, finding Natsuo with a knife through his chest laying on the roof and Mom handing by a rope. I choked on my son's, falling to the ground. He dropped Fuyumi's limp body, walking to kneel in front of my crumpled form,"This is your fault you know. They came out looking for their long lost Touya together and well, I couldn't pass up the opportunity." I trembled in place, before everything faded away.
I woke up sobbing, on the couch I'd been put on the night before. A hand snapped in front of my face, and my vision focused to find Erasure. I thought back to the dream, remembering that Mom had been hung by a price of his scarf. I hissed, scrambling away from him quickly. For all I knew, he could do something like that to me. He placed a hand on my arm, causing me to freeze fearfully. He spoke softly, like he had before,"Dabi, I'm gonna need you to calm down for me. Can you do that?" I shook my head violently, standing on wobbly feet caused by just waking up. Someone steadied me, and I looked up to find Present Mic. I pushed him away, backing into a corner. He looked sad,"What's wrong, listener?" I growled, before choking on more sobs and falling back. All I could think about was that they'd died because of me. That the league had betrayed me and- Someone knelt in front of me, Erasure. He slowly took my hand into his,"Hey, calm down. It was just a dream." I stared at him numbly, my sobs quieting to quickened breathes. He smiled a sad smile,"Do you wanna talk about it?" My eyes went wide when I caught a glimpse of his grey scarf around his neck. He seemed to notice, pulling it off and tossing it to the couch,"Is that better?" I nodded a bit, pulling my hand away to hold my knees to my chest. He sighed,"Are you hungry? Mic made biscuits and gravy." I ignored him, lost in my thoughts until he nugded my leg. I looked back up at him confused,"You back with me?" I tensed my legs a bit before untensing them and nodding. He stared at me before continuing,"Eri should be awake now. Do you wanna say hi?" I perked up at this, nodding again. He smiled again,"I'll go get her." He left for a moment, before coming back with a bouncy Eri. I wondered where Keigo had gone, as he trailer behind them hopefully. When Eri caught sight of me, she pushed past the two heroes, running to embrace me in a hug. She giggled,"Mr.Not scary guy is awake!" I tilted my head in confusion, before I understood. I smiled smally, hugging her back. When she pulled away, I noticed a bit of gravy on her cheek. I smiled fully then, pointing to my own cheek to show her what I thought was so funny. She wiped at her mouth with her sleeve, causing Erasure to grumble,"Eri, use a napkin." She pursed her lips, eyes wide as she realized she'd been caught. Tears gathered in my eyes, causing Keigo to sit next to me. He whispered so no one could hear us,"What's wrong?" I whispered back,"She reminds me so much of Fuyumi when she was little." He smiled,"You can go and see them you know. It's your choice." I looked down as Erasure gestured for Eri to follow him out the door. I mumbled,"I left for a reason, Hawks." He stiffined,"That's twice now. Why do you keep calling me my hero name?" I growled lowly,"You left me with them yesterday." He sighed,"Well, you'll have to get over it because I have to leave again here real soon." I went wide eyes,"You can't-" He covered my !outh with his finger,"I can. I have to, it's my job Patches. Besides, you survived last night didn't you?" I didn't answer, because I had survived. But only hardly. He rubbed my shoulders, and I melted. He chuckled,"You're adorable." I grumbled something unintelligible, before he scooted something in front of him. I didn't have time to realize what it was, until his lips were against mine. Instead of fighting him, I allowed him to shove the food into my mouth. I chewed and swallowed, but he didn't pull away like before. Instead, he pushed me against the wall. Biting my lip for entrance, I opened my mouth slightly. His tongue pushed through my parted lips, dancing with mine and exploring every inch of my mouth. He pulled away slightly to catch his breath. I was left in a breathless state, dazed. He smirked,"You got a bit of drool on your mouth, Patches." I held my hand up to my mouth to wipe it away, but he grabbed my wrist. He licked it off my lip, and my pink face turned three shades darker. I huffed audibly, shaking. I couldn't believe what had just happened. He touched his nose against mine,"I love you." I just nodded dumbly, unsure of how to react. He laughed before turning sad,"I'm late. I gotta go, Patches." I unfroze,"No Keigo! Don't leave me here." He sighed, shouting over his shoulder,"C'mon Aizaiwa! We gotta go!" I stared up at him,"Wait, what-" He turned to answered my unspoken question,"We're on patrol together, so you'll be staying with Mic and Shinso." He added,"Eri's going to daycare." I shook my head feircly with my eyes closed. He spoke again,"You need to eat something." I answered without a second thought,"I'm not hungry." He stood as Pres et Mic entered the room with Erasure. They walked over to the door, and I took the chance to run back to the room I'd been staying in.
Trying the handle, I found it was still locked. I growled, turning to look for an unoccupied room to hide in. At the end of the hall, a door opened as Shinso walked out. I froze, quietly stepping back and hoping he hadn't seen me. He walked into the living room casually, and I breathed a sigh of relief. I snuck into the kitchen, tiptoeing to the door. A male voice sounded from behind me,"Where do you think you're going?" I flinched, turning the knob to run out. Mic's hand landed over mine,"I have Hawks on speed dial. He wouldn't be too happy if he found out you ran off again, would he?" I trembled, staring at his hand wide eyed. He moved my hand off of the handle to lock it, and turned to me sadly,"You seriously need to eat, Little Listener." I walked away, hearing him follow close behind. He stopped me, grabbing my shoulder. I spun around, smacking his hand away,"Don't touch me! How many times do I have to say it?! It's the least you could do after kidnapping me! I haven't tried to run away, so leave me alone!" He froze,"You did. You ran away yesterday." I screamed angrily,"Because Keigo was yelling at me! What was I supposed to do, wait for him to hit me?!" I shook violently, and someone else grabbed my hand. I spun around again to find Shinso. I lit my hand, burning his wrist. He screamed out in pain, Mic running past me to help him. I trembled, stumbling backwards. Mic pulled out his phone,"Recovery Girl! We need medical over here. No, Dabi burnt Shinso's wrist. Why does it matter?!" He paused, staring back at me before returning to the call,"They were blue, why?" Silence. He hung up, glancing at me again,"Are you okay Dabi?" I stared, watching Shinso as he screamed. I blinked the tears away from my eyes, turning to run out the front door in the living room.
