She stood afar and watched his slow gait as he walked towards her.Her heart throbbed.
He had been away for only two months, but it felt like a year. 
As he drew nearer, she gasped for breath. She beheld his heavenly face clearer. She missed touching those charming eyes, thick eyebrows, and soft cheeks; she missed his lips.
She was eager to feel those strong arms around her.She wanted to caress his face so bad.

Boom! The lights went out,
He was gone in a flicker of time.Her feet trembled, and her heart pounded harder."Where are you?" Fear engulfed her.
"I'm here," he whispered behind her, his lips almost touching her ears. His arms found their way around her in the dark.
"I'm here."  I missed you.
She inhaled and savored his musky smell. She felt safe in his arms, that meant peace.
