"Potato Life"
The village of Ulapur is predominantly famous for one special cultivation and that is Potato.
The farmers really own huge farmlands and produce amples of potatoes.
But Only one farmer( Kisan ,Age of 15 years)has 2bighas of land. He have no parents . He is alone in the Village with no parents. But he had lots of friends , The friends of which we can imagine.
The lord has taken everythings from him. First parents then home then land was also.. But the lord bestowed him with a special gift and that is: He used to talk with the every potatoes that were cultivated by him.
For few months he used to be very much happy but for many months he used to be sad , which could remind him that he is alone. It were his potatoes which could fill his stomach and lead a normal life . He had to pay Only the money for the land that is taken on lease.
It was the month of November , the time for cultivation of potatoes. He had no money to buy the lands on lease and not even to buy the Matured potatoes from which the new potatoes would grow.
He took a loan of 45 thousand from Khan Saheb on the interest of 5 rupees per month for 4 months.
He paid 8 thousands for the land, 5 thousands for potatoes , 10 thousands for ploughing and cultivating.
And 12 thousands were spent for the fertilizers and other chemicals for the plants . And 10 thousands was miserabley spent by him for his living.
The loan that was taken was finished in potato cultivation and his living. He used to not pay the interest as it was done agreement that the amount would be paid at the time.
But he requireed again few thousands for the ploughing of potatoes. So he took again loan of 10 thousands from Khan Saheb at same interest.
Everything was going well but at the final phase a great destruction took place in Kisans life that ruined him.
The thing happened is : The potatoes were brought home from. the field and we're protected by him. In the whole village , the potatoes were grown more in Kisans field than others . The probable mystery could be his hard workings or help of Almighty God.
The other potato producers were jealous of Kisan.The other farmers got such a jealous that they could not put up with that reality anymore. And also they couldn't kill the boy because he was a Brahmin but they had an idea of making the boy kill himself .
