Freedom:

Give him the freedom to do the things that he likes. Do not limit him. Do not suffocate him with jealousy. The truth is, if he really loves you, he will never do anything that would hurt you. He has a life to live and so do you, there's no need to take that away from each other.

You are not his world. You are just a part of it.

Reciprocate:

Make efforts for him too. Ask him how his day went. Ask him what went wrong. Love him hard as well, especially when he's difficult to deal with. You both have to be patient with each other.

Understand:

He will never be perfect. At some point he will be inconsistent. Sometimes he will be impatient, and so will you. Sometimes it will be hard for you to handle each other's mood swings. You're not the only one

who gets angry. His mood changes as well.


Attention:

Just like you, he needs your attention too. He needs reassurance as well. He needs to know he is the only one for you. Do not give him reason to doubt you.

Respect:

You have to respect his choices and decisions. Give him the respect, space and time he deserves.
