Who could've bridged this gap?
Just the same as river streams running slow,
Our love has gone hollow
Bitter realism caught us both in the way
something abstract we inevitably can't grasp
putting hearts irrefutably on the sidelines
A call of resolution may be ringing our bells
Hopelessly, could it not be matrimony?
One could only hope for the other
not treating it begrudgingly
Somewhat it's gotta take miracles
Holding no grudges would've been a mercy
Far better the Lord's doing than ours

As much as they glorify it's a part of God's plan
How many would also believe
in God's process?
Of making one a worthy man
Of making one a worthy woman
in your significant other's eyes
not interrrupting the purpose
unfailingly happens for a reason
in the waiting season
if it be for the lifetime,
so shall it be done
Knowingly, the Lord fails not as He wills
Failed romance does not equal to the failure
of His own love, neither ending love for all
Long as He remains, love still does
Reserving a keepers' love just like
the way He always does preserve
